Overview
Founded in 1813, Colby is the 12th-oldest private liberal arts college in the country, located in central Maine, on a 714-acre campus overlooking downtown Waterville and the Kennebec River Valley. Fifty-five majors and 35 minors are offered by 23 academic departments and nine interdisciplinary programs.
Colby is ranked 24th in the United States among National Liberal Arts Colleges.
